Youth Leadership Summit on 20 May at the Irymple Leisure Centre.
Mildura Rural City Council are inviting all Student Representatives and School Captains from all secondary schools across the municipality to come to together to participate in a Youth Leadership Summit.
For the first time, Mildura Rural City Council are hosting a Youth Summit for our school leaders in the district to help further develop the leadership skills of our youth. We will be working alongside The Frank Team, a national training and development organisation, to deliver a training program that is a combination of learning, fun and practical application. This workshop will cover a range of topics including the following:
How to be a leader in your school
Characteristics of a leader
Resource kit (ideas, materials and strategies)
Local presentations : Head Space
At the completion of this workshop, each student will receive a certificate of participation which they can add to their resume and the skills needed to undertake their leadership journey.

Cost – No charge Morning Tea & Lunch provided
Students will need to return this registration form/permission slip to their school administration no later than 8 May 2015 as catering will need to be arranged.
